About me.
I am an acorn-loving girl living in Melbourne. I grew up in Tasmania and the Yarra Valley which I think is what has inspired my love of nature.
I love walking by rivers and among trees, especially if I get to wear my gumboots. I love painting detailed and intricate things that celebrate the beauty and brilliance of nature. I love to imagine magical and secret worlds hidden in the woods. I am a nurse by training but an artist at heart.
Having attended Little Yarra Steiner School growing up I always had a large focus on art and creativity. Other than my high school experience I am mostly self trained as an artist, though have completed multiple short courses in botanical and natural history illustration. I hope to keep painting until I am a eccentric old dog lady.
